Flexible joint
t-type joint
application field
Pressure/non-pressure water supply (potable water, sewage, etc.) pipeline;
Belowground/aboveground lying, and the pipe laying slope does not exceed 20% (aboveground) or 25% (belowground).

Sealing principle
The T-type joint is sealed by a rubber sealing ring inside the socket.
When the spigot end is inserted, the sealing ring is deformed and pre-stressed. This creates contact pressure between the pipe, the seal and the socket. Under operating pressure, this effect is further enhanced, so that the joint acts as a self-sealing connection and provides a reliable seal.
joint features
The T-Type Joint is a flexible socket joint that is easy to install and provides a good seal.
It allows for a certain degree of deflection and can therefore accommodate minor changes in direction as well as limited settlement of the subsoil. However, the joint is not force-locked in the longitudinal direction and is not tensile-resistant. This means it cannot safely transmit axial forces. Consequently, thrust blocks or, alternatively, self-anchored systems are generally required at changes in direction, end points or other points subject to stress.
